It's a curious thing, a root beer float. Famously invented when a soda vendor ran out of ice so improvised and threw a blob of ice-cream in to keep his drinks cool. It's lucky he wasn't selling frozen lasagnas, this would have been a whole different product. Top off your root beer float with a good squirt of the distinctive, creamy taste of A&W Root Beer Dessert Topper. Great on other desserts as well, mind you. That's desserts, not deserts. If you have the latter, you are better off with water, shade, sensible shoes, a hat and maybe a camel. We bet camels like a root beer float, though.
