Andy Capp's

Andy Capp is well known in the UK (first appearing in The Mirror in 1957), but somehow managed to find his way onto a range of American snacks after the rights were purchased in 1971. The original comic strips used to appear on the back of the packets, apparently. Honestly not sure why our American cousins enjoyed the amusing endeavours of a regular working-class layabout from Hartlepool, it all seems a little weird, but maybe they were just blown away by the most excellent flavour of Andy Capp’s Fries. Available in every flavour known to humankind (within reason) from original to cheddar fries and fire fries for the adventurous. All the way from the US, we’ve sneakily acquired the American’s ‘chips’ so we can sell them to you as crisps. As it should be.

Random Fact: Andy’s snooker cue is called “Delilah”.
