Cadbury
Hard to know what to tell you about Cadbury that you probably don't know already – second largest confectionery brand in the world, started in Birmingham in 1824, Quakers, built their own village, stuff like that. But okay, here's a thing; the Cadbury script that makes the logo is based on the signature of the founder's grandson. They also tried to trademark the colour purple for chocolate packaging, there's still an ongoing legal dispute with Nestle about that. Oh, and that TV advert with the drumming gorilla was awesome.
