Cheetos

Cheetos were invented in 1948, are made by Frito-Lay, which is a division of PepsiCo (as many things are), and annual sales are in excess of $4bn, speaking to the continuing popularity of the cheesy puff snack.  Starting out with Crunchy Cheetos, Cheetos Puffs were launched in 1971, and now there's more than 20 different Cheetos available in the US.  The lucky devils.

You may recognise the Cheetos cheetah (Chester), but the original mascot was a mouse with a posh accent and a three-piece suit.  Not sure why they came up with the mouse, we think the cheetah makes a lot more sense.  You know, matching syllables and all that.
