Cookie Dough Bites

Cookie Dough Bites are actually a relatively recent invention – knocked up by Taste of Nature Inc in 1997.  Staggering, isn't it, that no-one thought to make these before then?  Originally made just to be sold at the cinema, and they were only in choc chip flavour, but it didn't take long for their popularity to spread and now the number of flavours is, like, ooh, lots.   What you get here is basically their secret recipe for raw cookie dough (egg-free, please note) in little bite-sized pieces, which are then coated in something delicious.  Apparently, and you might like to try this at home, kids, they are really great when frozen.  Also rather moreish at room temperature, we have to say.
