Sunkist

Dating back all the way to 1893, the Sunkist Growers were originally an agricultural co-operative based in the fertile regions of California and Arizona. Highly successful at growing various citrus fruits, they had difficulty getting rid of it all; schools, hospitals, airport runways, they were clogged up and heaving under ever growing gigantic mountains of unused fruit, something had to be done.

So the good people of Sunkist spent the next hundred or so years coming up with clever products which happened to taste delicious in order to ensure that their fruits were all put to good use.  Thus the American West coast was saved from fruity destruction.

Sunkist still are fruit growers at heart, but also licence their brands out across the world to others wanting to use up all their fruit to make things.
