Takis are rolled corn tortilla chips, made by the fantastically named Grupo Bimbo group of companies, in Mexico as you probably guessed.  There’s loads of flavours and some are a little out there – habanero and cucumber, anyone? – but the most popular is the chilli-lime “Fuego” flavour.  They were invented as recently as 1999 and you can expect to see these increasingly in the UK, we predict.
