Trident
Sure, we all know that a trident is a three-pronged spear, the tool of Poseidon (Greek) and Neptune (Roman), god of the sea and whatnot. The word comes from the Latin “tri”, meaning three, and “dentes ” meaning teeth. Some may question naming your chewing gum business, with its overtones of dental health, after something with only three teeth, but we’re sure someone was paid a lot of money to come up with a decent reason to do it. Putting this to one side, Trident gum is sugar-free, making it more healthy than, well, any gums that aren’t.
