Nestle
Nestlé is what people in the business world call a conglomerate; one of the largest businesses in the world, they make some of the most recognised confectionery brands – like Kit Kat, for example – but also things like baby food and Nescafé coffee. It was formed by a merger of the catchy-named “Anglo-Swiss Milk Company” and the even more catchy-named “Farine Lactée Henri Nestlé” (which means “Milk Flour Henri Nestlé”). So just calling it “Nestlé” was probably a good shout. For all that business talk, we love their chocolate and it's a pleasure to eat their stuff!
